The opening programme of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council's new premises, Marginal Notes, is curated by Ying Kwok and jointly created by 11 units of local visual and media artists. The works cover multiple mediums, including textiles, installations, prints, digital art, drawings, and sculptures, delving into the past and present of the Wong Chuk Hang district.

Located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island, Wong Chuk Hang possesses a distinct character attributed to its natural geographical position, historical heritage, and urban planning directions. Over the years, it has undergone numerous transformations, resulting in a rich cultural legacy. This exhibition serves as a platform for artists to unearth hidden legends and anecdotes within the area. Like footnotes offering supplementary explanations, these different perspectives intertwine to reshape a more comprehensive community landscape.

Marginal Notes invites the public to embark on a journey of exploration and discovery, through the appreciation of artistic creations, to participate in and continue the stories of our city.
